John Chrouser 
– Vice President of Company – Manager of Park Falls Location

John has been with the company since 1973. He began working for the Stratford location at a young age both in the yard and as a carpenter. He continued there until his father – one of the original founders of the business – decided to start a branch in Park Falls. He chose John to be the manager of the Park Falls location and John and his family promptly moved to the Park Falls area in 1980. John has his license for General Contracting and does much of the estimating necessary for new homes and a variety of other jobs. John can assist with anything related to building a home, remodeling, and estimating.

Alan Chrouser – Draftsman-Manager of Park Falls Location

Alan started working for Park Falls Building & Hardware at a young age. He spent his summers helping out with the family business until he graduated from high school. Upon graduation in 1993, he started working full time for the business until he began post-secondary education. He attend NTC Wausau for Residential Design. While attending school he worked for the Stratford location of the company. Upon completion of his schooling he returned to the Park Falls area and began his position as a draftsman. Alan designs homes and buildings through architectural programming. Alan also specializes in Kitchen Design. Alan also can assist with bathroom design, counter tops, windows, and anything else building related. Alan also has experience with General Contracting.

Alan Grassl – Head of Contractor Sales 

Alan has been with the company since he was a young man. He began working for the company at the Stratford location in 1971 and his primary experience there involved carpentry. When John was sent to open the Park Falls location, Alan volunteered to join him. Alan continued working as a head carpenter for years until he moved in to the office. Alan does a great deal of estimating, especially for shingle and metal roofs. His many years of carpentry have allowed him to understand the building process better than most which results in the ability to help contractors and customers plan jobs according to code and safety as well as problem solve unique and difficult situations.

Carrie Chrouser Schultz – Assistant Manager 

Carrie worked for the family business in high school before moving on to college where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and later her Master's Degree in Counseling. She returned to the business in 2014 when her husband, Nathan, was offered the Yard Foreman position. They moved back to Park Falls from the Eau Claire area with their family. Initially she returned to help the business re-open following a fire, but this transpired in to a long-term position where she became more intricately involved with the company. She manages most of the hardware store ordering and is the primary contact for the painting and flooring departments.

Nathan Schultz – Yard Foreman

Nathan has been with the company since 2014. His primary responsibility is to manage the yard and handle the logistics of deliveries. Nathan has a great deal of logistical experience from former work mostly obtained in the Eau Claire area. He is becoming more involved in ordering and estimating and his knowledge of the building process continues to expand as he gains more experience at the company. Nathan can assist with pricing and light general contracting questions as well as with lumber and yard materials.

Tina Atkocaitis – Bookkeeper 

Tina moved to Glidden, WI from Chicago, IL in 2013. She began working for Park Falls Building & Hardware in 2015. She has an A.A.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. Tina has years of business and accounting experience from her previous employment in Chicago. Her experiences and knowledge have allowed her to effectively manage accounts receivable and she is a valuable team member. Tina also assists with purchase order entry and processing and is excellent with providing collaboration, problem solving, and organization to the company.
Pete Elsen - Yard Worker 

Pete started with the company in May of 2017. He and his wife have been traveling to the Northwoods for years and decided they enjoy it so much that this is where they want to live and eventually retire. They moved from Junction City, WI where Pete was working for Fed Ex for the last 15 years. Pete can assist with yard orders, deliveries, and can guide customers to where they need to be. His knowledge and skills are a great addition to the Park Falls Building & Hardware team.

Dillon Myhre - Yard Worker

Dillon started with the Builders in October of 2017. He and his wife moved to the area from La Crosse after his wife accepted a teaching position at Chequamegon School District. Dillon has been a wonderful addition to our Builders Team and is able to assist with yard inquiries and deliveries. His involvement here is sure to expand as he continues with the company.
Steve Sitte

Steve has been working part-time with Park Falls Building & Hardware since 2014. Steve served in the Army from 1969-1972 as a young man and upon returning to the area began working for the Paper Mill. Steve is retired from the Flambeau Paper Mill where he worked for 39 years and 8 months. He works for the Builders during the busy season providing excellent customer service. Steve's knowledge and life experience make him an excellent person to collaborate with.
